Dear Prospective Resident,  

Welcome to Deerpath Farm, a unique and beautiful conservation community conveniently located in the heart of the estate and horse country in southeast Lake County.

Deerpath Farm has been owned and carefully managed by the Bennett family for nearly 80 years. Just 43 homesites will grace the 200 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and meadows of Deerpath Farm. The 140 acres of permanent open space are under the care of the Lake Forest Open Lands Association, a well-known local conservation group that holds a permanent conservation easement over the protected open space to ensure that it is never developed.

The Deerpath Farm Homeowners' Association is the owner of this open space. A transfer fee upon sale and annual assessment fund Open Lands' ongoing maintenance and care of the property. A trail system will connect these open space parcels and provide hiking access throughout the entire farm.

Long-term single ownership and excellent past land management practices make Deerpath Farm is one of the best-preserved natural areas in the region.
